For my first post in TWO years (shameful), I would like to share a personal project that is near to my heart. The 804 project. For the past couple of years, I have been photographing my dear Richmond friends. These people keep me sane in this crazy world. They are my chosen family. As every photographer knows, the human face is so amazing. What some consider "flaws", we see as character and definition. It is hard to capture everyone's true personality in just a couple of snap shots, but I am enjoying trying. This is still a work in progress, as some people are a little camera shy and need some prodding (gently, of course).
I will post a gallery after the first exhibition. I can't give away too much up front. Here is a little taste of 804 and the beautiful people who help me through life.
